New Release: San Antonio Toxic Tour

"San Antonio, one of the nation's most economically segregated cities, presents an opportunity to see how different modes of pollution affect certain communities depending on where they operate. Alongside the history of different plants within San Antonio, this map also provides locations for local initiatives to support well-being such as community gardens and local social-justice organizations. This map is inspired by work from the Youth Leadership Organization, and compiled under guidance from Diana Lopez and Sandra Garcia of the Southwest Workers Union" Rachel Indest, Trinity University Student.

Join us This Thursday at 6:30 pm for a workshop webinar review new tools for environmental justice. In collaboration with Trinity University Student Rachel Indest and our own Summer Internship students we will be walking through the San Antonio Toxic Tour Map and sharing some exciting programs connected to the map.
