

CPS Cuts Coal in Power Generation Vote
CPS had their Power Generation vote this past Monday January 23rd. Several SWU staff and members showed up to speak. After many years of canvassing, petitioning, giving public comment, direct action and many other forms of organizing in the community, CPS has finally committed to transitioning away from coal. While we are pleased that CPS will be transitioning Spruce away from coal, we will remain vigilant in our fight against the use of fossil fuels to power our city. Fracke
