Launching Earth Week of Action

We’re kicking off Earth Week with a simple message: Our community’s heartbeat is more important than a data center’s hum. As many of us find ourselves in difficult times, remember: The Future is Ours to Build. For the sake of our children, our neighbors, our communities, we need investments in health and well-being, money for schools, community-controlled clean energy projects, and jobs that support us all, not data centers that drive crisis and chaos. Join us to send a clear message this week:

It’s time to Ditch The Data Centers. The only centers we need are Community Centers, Libraries and Schools!

How you can keep showing up for your community and building a fresh future for all.

  • Join your local union, community organization, parents organization, show up to meetings, canvassing and other actions they host.

  • Sign up to speak, elected officials need to know that you are against the further destruction, rate increases and water and electric grid shortages that data centers will spark.

  • Organize your neighbors, share the reality of what will happen to our community if we continue to let data centers, billionaires create hyper extractive projects in our neighborhood.

  • Donate to support San Antonio’s first resilience hub. This space is funded by our community.

  • Check out the data center tool kit by our friends at Climate Justice Alliance.

And finally SIGN THE PETITION TO DITCH DATA CENTERS IN SAN ANTONIO. Click on the button below.

Each day this week we will be posting on our instagram and facebook. Please like and share so as many people can connect with us and we can defeat data centers in Texas.
