Join Us For Our First Member Meeting of 2026!

This Saturday, January 17th at 10am we will hold our first member meeting of 2026! You do not need to be a member of SWU to attend and we encourage anyone interested in: environmental & climate justice, community organizing, anti militarism, popular education, youth empowerment, and more to join us on Saturday to learn more about our work. We value and strive for language justice so our meetings are always in English and in Spanish. We have translation equipment available to those who are not bilingual. We encourage monolingual English speakers to learn more about language justice and ways to decenter English.

We have a packed agenda (see the images below) that includes a pop education class on what’s happening in Venezuela that will be presented by a long time SWU member and About Face veteran.
