About The Event
Every April a phenomea called Fiesta San Antonio takes place "in honor of those who fought at the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacino," - Fiesta San Antonio. During this workshop we will take a look at Fiesta San Antonio from an Anti-Colonial lens. Associate Profesor Lilliana Patricia Salaña, Ph.D, will guide us through an analysis of the celebration of Fiesta towards exposing the roots of this "celebration."
